The first certified Passive House in the Wellington region and catalyst for the eHaus Kapiti team to launch from. A contemporary three bedroom home, built as an expoHaus (demonstration house) and used initially as the eHaus Kapiti teams work base. It is now sold and in private ownership. Designed and built with a double insulated timber frame and insulated concrete pad. The home is grid tied with a roof mounted 3kW solar PV system. A heat pump split system provides hot water and powers a hydronic underfloor heating system that is rarely used!
