PASSIVE HOUSE HUI 2022
Event details
Thanks to all those who made this year’s Hui fantastic. A lot of ideas were raised, topics explored, connections made. A thoroughly enjoyable and productive day, made all the more special by the generosity of those who opened their doors the day before for the site visits. A huge thank you to all from the team at PHINZ.
He waka eke noa
This year we are bringing it back to our roots: we’ve changed the format of the Hui to be a more intimate event, promoting the opportunity for open and frank kōrero within the Passive House whānau in Aotearoa NZ, and lots of fun.
Held at the lovely Millbrook Resort in Arrowtown, it’s set to be lots of fun – there will be topical discussion groups, project updates, quizzes and good food.
We will kick off with bubbles at 10.30am and the chance to mingle. Official Hui begins at 11am.
Transport !
PHINZ will not be providing transport, however we have had a couple of offers from locals coming to the Hui to offer transport to those coming in from elsewhere.
Please head over to the Facebook Transport Hub if you need a lift for any of the events or can generously offer transport to others – you will be able to make connections within that group.
Please note – PHINZ does not hold any responsibility for these connections.
Other events around the Hui – Saturday 20th August
– Project tours will be happening between 10am-4.30pm on Saturday 20th in Luggate, Cromwell and Lake Hayes for Hui attendees only. Note! these are not hosted by PHINZ, you will need to find your own transport to access these. The visits are organised by the host and you will need to follow their requirements. Details of the visits will be sent upon registration.
– Dinner at Margo’s in Queenstown scheduled for 7.30pm Saturday evening.
This is a pre-paid informal event with limited numbers. Cost is $130 pp
Hui registrations are now open – please follow the link below. Get in quick as numbers will be limited both for the Hui itself and for the dinner.
We look forward to seeing you there!
