Builder’s Talk: How to build a strawbale Passive House

Upfront carbon is gaining attention, and is of particular interest once we have reduced operational carbon to a minimum using the Passive House method.

For this online event, we asked Wanaka based builder Ben Eyers (Hiberna) to enlighten us on the process of building New Zealand’s first strawbale Passive House.
Jonathan Holmes (Via Architecture) will contribute a quick comparison of upfront carbon for a strawbale and timber frame Passive House.

Following Ben’s and Jonathan’s presentations, there will be ample opportunity for questions and networking.
