This webinar gives an overview of solar components (inverters, solar panels, batteries, optimisers), and explains how solar works and how to size solar for happy customers. 

It will also discuss the building characteristics that matter when designing a house for solar covering orientation, shading, roofing materials, and ground-mount structures.

A particular focus is on solar for Passive House. To this effect, the performance criteria for Passive House Plus and Premium in relation to solar will be looked at, using a reference project to highlight what these options entail.

Lastly, we will make the case that feedback from consumption monitoring is a must, and explore what lies ahead in the solar sector’s future.
