Dunlop Hub

13 Venture Crescent, Wānaka, New Zealand
13 Venture Crescent Wānaka Otago 9305 NZ

An ambitious office building constructed by Dunlop Builders as their headquarters to embody their company values. It is a stunning building designed by Pac Studio showcasing elegant architecture, beautiful timber craftwork, and excellent environmental credentials. Not only is it the first commercial office building in Aotearoa NZ to be certified to the Passive House standard, but it also achieved Passive House Plus certification. Ecological considerations included low embodied carbon utilising timber products, thermally modified timber, and low-carbon concrete. Excellent construction waste management reduced waste and carbon emissions. Passive House and carbon consulting by Jonathan Holmes and Elrond Burrell of VIA architecture.
